The "Beyond the Color Purple" quilt below was made by Mary Johnson using her Bernina embroidery software and her Bernina Artista 200 sewing/embroidery machine.

   

 

The beautiful quilt below was made by Jennifer Yancey during our Latte Quilt class.  Jennifer used her Bernina Artista Embroidery Software to design the quilt blocks and then sewed them on her Viking Designer SE machine.

 

Mary O'Daniels made this Bargello quilt.  Mary is a very active quilter and loves Bargello quilts

 

Joan Cassill made the quilt shown during our Wildflower Fun class. This class featured an appliqué quilt designed for your embroidery machine.  The class utilized the embroidery capabilities of the machine to create the blocks by doing appliqué in the embroidery hoop.

 

Sharon Brown made the quilt below using an outdoor theme.  The inspiration was locations she and her husband visited in Colorado.  She achieved a three-dimensional effect by sewing on small wildlife figures.

     

 

Congratulations to Marilyn Henderson, who won first place in the category Best Lap Quilt or Baby Quilt at the Hawkeye Heritage Quilters biennial quilt show.  The quilt show was held September 23rd and 24th 2006 at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa.

Marilyn made the Basket Case Quilt below while participating in the Thimbleberries Quilt Club 2004 Block of the Month Class at Sandi's Sewing Connection.  We are proud of Marilyn and offer her our congratulations.
